Gorky

Tel Aviv

Team Leader: Millet Shechter
Photographer: Jonathan Roshlain

360 degrees of alcohol centered on an untouchable stairway of a small dilapidated building in Florentine, an old semi-industrial area of Tel Aviv. Stuck in our throats, the stairway became the generator of the plan. We manoeuvred between the “rain drops”: columns, stairs, bearing walls and the envelop of the space to come up with different vibes on each of the four sides of the bar.

Mystery, concealment & diversity of experiences

One could choose a side for the night and experience a totally different experience from the people seating on the other sides. Mystery, concealment, diversity of experiences and surprising eye crossings gave Gorky its stamina

AS A LEADING VENUE FOR THE NIGHT CREATURES.
